Cajun Crab Mac n Cheese

My mouth waters just thinking about this ooey-gooey concoction of flavors. This recipe is to die for – it’s creamy and has a lil’ kick to it! This recipe has 4 kinds of cheese in it, BUT the game changer is definitely the Trader Joe Cheddar & Gruyere Melange cheese. It’s so cheap compared to the gruyere or white cheddar any other store, & they combine them into one!

You seriously have to try this recipe, it’s totally worth the carbs

Creamy Chipotle Chicken

This recipe is delicious and definitely brings the heat! It’s quick to prepare and the ingredients are fairly cheap.

I served this dish on a bed of minute rice and sauteed some zucchini but it will pair well with any grain or vegetable!

Ahi Tuna Salad with Sesame Soy Vinaigrette

This salad is an easy, yet restaurant quality meal that actually fills you up, unlike most salads! The dressing is light, refreshing, and really compliments the tuna.

I’m lucky to have such easy access to fresh fish by living in San Diego. If you can’t find fresh tuna, previously frozen will work! Try this one out and let me know if you have any comments or suggestions!

Salmon With Lemon Arugula Sauce & Garlic Herb Orzo

Salmon pairs perfectly with this lemon arugula sauce. The sauce looks a little intimidating since it’s bright green, but you have to trust me on this one!

Spaghetti Squash Shrimp Scampi

Shrimp scampi is one of my absolute favorite dishes so I decided to make a healthier version (minus the pasta). It took me a few attempts to make this perfect, and now I am obsessed with this sauce, give it a try and let me know if you have any suggestions!

If you want to use regular spaghetti, you’re more than welcome to do that, just make sure you cook the spaghetti per the package’s directions.

Enjoy!

Must-Have Garlic Grinder

Screen Shot 2018-01-09 at 12.59.26 PM

Since I love garlic so much but HATE chopping it because my hands will smell for days, this little tool has become one of my best friends. I use it daily and it is much easier to use and clean compared to a standard garlic press. I would strongly suggest adding this to your kitchen inventory…PLUS its less than $10! Click here or on the photo to check it out! There are more of my favorite appliances and gadgets on the Kitchen Tools tab!
